Queer Running Collective (QRC) is a safe and inclusive space for queer and trans individuals to run together. We focus on building community, free from judgment or fear. After each run, we host a social to connect and get to know one another.

Our sessions are one hour long, fully coached by Kole Fulmine and Sam Purnell, with group leaders Dalia Saris and Luke Kene. If you can comfortably run 5km, feel free to join our Tuesday evening runs. If you're new to running, check out our quarterly Open Evenings for a welcoming introduction.

Schedule:
  • Tuesday - East
    • 7:00 pm: Wing and Prayer, Clarence Road E5
      • Focus: Hill sprints, paced run, sprints, and conditioning (different focus each month)
      • Bag drop available at Wing and Prayer, Hackney Downs Park
  • Tuesday - South
    • 7:00 pm: The Unicorn, 157-159 Rye Lane
      • Focus: Speed play, sprints, strength, and conditioning (same as East run but in Peckham Rye)
  • Thursday - Track Session
    • 7:30 am: Vicky Park (Postponed until May 2025)
      • Focus: Speed and power training on the track, bodyweight exercises for strength
  • Saturday - Long Run
    • 10:00 am: Thingy Cafe, Hackney Wick
      • Focus: 8km run with pacers and stops, coffee afterwards
      • Bag drop available
  • Saturday - Runner’s Strength
    • 1:00 pm: FitEast, Dalston
      • Focus: Full body strength training, lower body endurance for longer distances (including mobility and deadlifts)
  • Sunday - Long Long Runs
    • 10:00 am: Thingy Cafe, Hackney Wick
      • Focus: Marathon training, 20-35km runs depending on the month (21km minimum, pace 5:30-6:00 min/km)
      • No bag drop available, bring gels, water, and warm clothes
